Operations Manager (Hydrovac exp req) Description

Our client in the infrastructure services industry is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to add to their team. Leveraging your background in hydro-excavation, you will lead the daily operations within an assigned region, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable execution of hydro-excavation and related infrastructure projects. This role is well-suited for candidates who bring strong leadership experience within infrastructure services, are comfortable managing crews, coordinating field operations, driving operational KPIs, and partnering closely with sales and business development teams to support regional growth. Operations Manager (Hydrovac exp req) Responsibilities

•    Oversee daily operations within the assigned region
•    Supervise fleet of trucks, including scheduling, productivity, and operational performance
•    Lead team of employees and support hiring, onboarding, and performance management
•    Manage P&L, budgeting, labor planning, and operational forecasting efforts for territory
•    Manage operational KPIs and drive process improvements where needed 
•    Lead daily operational communication, issue resolution, and field support activities
•    Drive accountability around safety, operational execution, and service quality standards
•    Collaborate with sales team to drive scheduling and operational commitments
•    Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, safety, and operational regulations and standards
•    Maintain communication with executive leadership regarding operational performance

Operations Manager (Hydrovac exp req) Qualifications

•    10+ years hydrovac industry experience required
•    5+ years people management experience required
•    P&L management experience required 
•    Proven experience achieving operational KPIs required
