Location: Must reside within 3 hours of Muscle Shoals, AL (70-80% onsite in first 90 days)
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE + Benefits

Director of Procurement - Hybrid Description 

Our client in the manufacturing industry is in search of a Director of Procurement to add to their team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, you will lead procurement, sourcing, and material planning for a high-mix, high-volume environment of 10,000+ SKUs and 100+ suppliers. You will be responsible for demand planning, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency. This role will lead a team and work closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams to support business objectives. Ideal candidates will have strong procurement and supply chain experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment and have the motivation needed to be a hands-on leader. Director of Procurement - Hybrid Responsibilities

•    Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement, sourcing, and material planning team
•    Leverage existing systems and emerging AI tools to strengthen demand planning processes 
•    Monitor markets, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities for supply chain reliability 
•    Establish and monitor KPIs and objectives for procurement and supply chain performance
•    Own supplier relationships and support new supplier additions as needed
•    Establish team KPIs, accountability structures, and growth goals
•    Champion a culture of solutions, execution, and continuous improvement
•    Partner with commercial, operations, and finance teams on cross-functional projects
•    Continuously identify process and technology improvements to drive efficiency

Director of Procurement - Hybrid Qualifications 

•    7+ years of procurement/supply chain experience required
•    Experience in a manufacturing or industrial distribution environment required
•    Team leadership and development experience required
•    Expertise in demand planning, supplier management, and negotiation required
•    Proficiency in Excel and ERP required
