Location: Kenvil, NJ
Salary: $85,000 Base + Uncapped Commissions ( OTE $170k) + Benefits

Business Development Representative Description

Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team in Kenvil, New Jersey. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on calling warm leads from the company database, following up with trade show contacts, and re-engaging dormant accounts to drive new business. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, recommend promotional solutions, and manage projects from concept through delivery. To be successful in this role, you must be organized, able to think creatively, and have good communication skills.  This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional in the promotional products industry who is motivated by uncapped earning potential and room for growth.

Business Development Representative Responsibilities

•    Learn and communicate the company’s capabilities and promotional product offerings
•    Generate revenue by calling warm leads, trade show contacts, and existing accounts
•    Present product solutions using samples, catalogs, and digital tools
•    Prepare quotes and customer agreements 
•    Estimate delivery timelines and effectively manage customer expectations 
•    Maintain records of transactions, activities, and client communications 
•    Proactively manage client expectations and resolve issues promptly
•    Travel to attend trade shows and meet with clients

Business Development Representative Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    3+ years of sales experience in the promotional products industry required 
•    Experience with outbound calling required 
•    Willingness to travel for trade shows and client meetings required
