Production Operations Manager Description

Our client, in the Pharma/Medical device manufacturing industry, is looking for an experienced Production Operations manager to join their team in Albany, GA. You will oversee all production teams and programs at the site, ensuring compliance with regulations to meet the annual production plan. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ISO, OSHA, internal audit, and EH&S requirements. Success in this role requires effective cross-functional collaboration and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Production Operations Manager Responsibilities

● Lead the development of the monthly/annual production strategy
● Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes
● Monitor production metrics and KPIs and report performance to senior management
● Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of production equipment
● Coordinate with the QA team to address production issues and maintain product standards
● Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards
● Ensure proper planning and alignment of resources, time, and materials
● Interact with site teams to ensure alignment of objectives, priorities, and projects
● Develop Production Supervisors and staff to ensure the health and success of the team
● Contribute to the leadership team and provide ideas for the future

Production Operations Manager Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree required
● 9+ years of Production Operations related experience required
● 4+ years of production leadership (supervisory) experience required
● Working knowledge of cGMP and ISO13485 regulations required
● Process Controls (CIL, Center Line, 5S, TPM) experience required
● Skilled at negotiating with vendors and contractors required
