Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 CAD (DOE) + 15% Bonus

Our client, a leader in the global pulp and fiber industry, is seeking an accomplished Maintenance & Engineering Manager to join their team in Atholville, New Brunswick. In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee the maintenance and engineering functions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cutting-edge and legacy equipment. Maintenance & Engineering Manager (Chemical Mfg or Pulp Mill Ops exp req) Responsibilities

• Manage and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance plans
• Lead department personnel to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capital project planning
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Plan and coordinate annual shutdowns and other major maintenance activities
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Foster strong union-management relations and ensure effective communication

Maintenance & Engineering Manager (Chemical Mfg or Pulp Mill Ops exp req) Qualifications

• 8+ years of maintenance or engineering management experience required
• 4+ years of Chemical Manufacturing or Pulp Mill Operations experience required
• Experience managing budgets over $15million required
• ERP and Maintenance management software experience required
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills required
