Our client, a high-growth e-commerce company revolutionizing the office-based healthcare supply industry, is searching for a dynamic HYBRID Manager of Account Management. You will lead a team of 5 Account Managers, focusing on client retention, renewals, and upselling. This role is pivotal as the company transitions to a membership-based pricing model, requiring you to develop new strategies and best practices for account management. You will create playbooks, conduct training, and foster a high-performance culture. [HYBRID] Manager of Account Management (Start-up exp req) Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 Account Managers
• Oversee customer retention, renewal, and upsell strategies
• Develop playbooks and training materials for the account management team
• Conduct daily team huddles and weekly 1-on-1s to drive performance
• Serve as the escalation point for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, and Product teams to enhance client experience
• Analyze data to optimize client segmentation and engagement strategies
• Contribute to product feedback and feature development based on client insights
• Drive strategic initiatives to boost account retention and reduce churn
[HYBRID] Manager of Account Management (Start-up exp req) Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of experience managing account management teams required
• 2+ years of Account Management or a similar client-facing role experience required
• High-volume accounts management (100+ accounts managed) experience required
• CRM and other customer success management tools experience required
• Proven track record in client retention, renewal, and upselling required
