Senior Account Executive – Federal Public Sector Description
Our client in the software industry is looking for a Senior Account Executive to add to their team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will be responsible for the acquisition and retention of federal public sector clients, including building strong relationships with channel partners, resellers, and government agencies, to drive product licensing and adoption. Our client is looking for a skilled professional with a proven record of success in software sales. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the federal public sector and its unique needs. Senior Account Executive – Federal Public Sector Responsibilities
• Research, analyze and recruit qualified federal public sector customers
• Identify and onboard qualified Public Sector Resellers to expand the partner network
• Drive sales through reseller partners and direct engagement with Federal customer
• Create and execute sales plans to meet business objectives
• Ensure public sector customers are up to date on products offerings and applications
• Address customer challenges, providing feedback on product updates & features enhancements
• Build, manage, drive accurate sales pipelines with projected revenues goals
• Collaborate on the creation of sustainable sales proposals, pricing strategies, and quotations
• Support company sales initiatives, including trade shows
Senior Account Executive – Federal Public Sector Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 6+ years of B2B software sales experience required
• Proven experience in public sector sales required
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance required
